when i first got tango he would not eat the first day or so and it was i think because he was scared about the change of environment. anyway i read if you soak the pellets in tuna juice it will entice them to eat. i did so and it worked amazingly that one time and i have not done so since as he has no problems eating.

just curious... are little tiny bits of tuna okay to feed him on rare occasions as a treat?

Yeah tuna is ok as a TREAT,no more than once a month.Im warning you though,RES tend to get stuck on that once they eat it.I fed mine little chunks of tuna one day and they loved it so much that they stopped eating theyre pellets and veggies and just begged for tuna. After a week of tough love, they started eating again.
