Feeding and Nutrition :: Im not dealing with planaria worms again

i bought a few feeder fish and i noticed worms were popping around. so i flushed the fish and got planaria worms. i got rid of the worms after i cleaned. but i want to buy feeder fish but i dont wan to risk getting worms again. what can i do?

i remember i dumped the whole bag of fish along with the petsmart water. i probably should have not done that. and heres a question for ya. if i take the fish and i wash them in the sink will that rid all possible planaria?
