:D

I am so pleased with my turtles that they ate all their veggies today!! I introduced leafy green lettuce (not iceberg) two days ago. At first, they were reluctant. (I offered a piece of lettuce to my lil' Beltran and he turned his head away. "No thanks" he said!! Lol) and now I had a few pieces of lettuce in the tank this morning and when I came home about 10 PM, all the lettuce was GONE!! It was awesome!!

Wahoo!!! I know I was SUPER excited when Zeke finally started to eat his lettuce. He is still sort of finicky about it, but he doesn't get pellets/protein every day any more so he has to settle for the stuff that's good for him.....man he's like a little kid!

Hi, What to do, my Tucker doesn't eat his green. I left a piece in the tank before work, when I got home it was floating untouched. I babysitted my friend's turt. Unlike Tucker, this guy loves lettuce and can't get enough of it. Are turts picky eater?

Some are, some aren't. I've got one painted who will eat anything. Some of the others look at me when they get food and I see in their eyes, "Is that it? What else ya got?" :)

How old is Tucker? I have had Zeke since July and he is BARELY starting to eat his Romain like a good boy. Took lots of patience. Just keep at it, eventually he might like it.

Heather, have you tried red leaf lettuce? He might be more attracted to the color and red leaf has a lot more calcium than romaine.
