Once or twice a day?
PEBBLES: Given away, assumed current mood of pebbles in his new huge pond home: Happy.
Currently learning to "ride to waves"

I wish i had a turtle. Hm. I love turtles.

It depends, some people divide their feedings into twice daily, others feed once daily. I think it has to do with your schedule and preferences. I feed my adult turtle just once a day.

It depends on the size/age of the turtle.. Older turtles say.. 3"/year or more should be feed every other day. Babies can be fed daily.. you can either feed it all at once or divide their portion into 2 feedings. Either way at each feeding they should only get the amount that would fit in their head (minus the neck) if it were hollowed out. It's better to err on the less side than overfeeding them. You should also offer fresh veggies (read in the what to feed list) every day.

What I do for my turtle since I have had him (4 days) is I have been feeding him about 5 pellets when I get home from school, and if he doesn't eat them within an hour I fish them out with a net and throw the soggy pellets away. :) I hope this helps :?
