I have been giving my Turtle some of our offspring from our ever growing fish tank. He loves to chase them and has eaten a few. Sometimes he cannot catch them, and when they get to big, I take t hem out. He is a handicaped turtle so he can't swim well. I am not sure what type of fish they are, they have inbred and keep mating. Stinky only likes shrimp, but I make him eat the baby pellets. He should be a year now. How much is too much. He will eat all day and begs all day for food and attention. I have not tried greens. He has eating plants I have purchased.

For pellets, feed the amount that would fit inside his head every other day. Feed veggies (red leaf or romaine lettuce or aquatic plants) on the days in between. Check the 'what to feed' and 'what not to feed' lists for more ideas.
