hi ppl, cud you please help me, i am a new RES keeper. my turtles are just 2 days old with me, and they aren't eating well. i even offered them a treat with grapes and they haven't eaten. could you please help me out

Did you buy pellet food? Offer that instead. It'll take time for them to get used to their new home. Until then, they probably won't eat. Just keep offering food daily and be patient.

thats really nice.. i think being paitent does require a lil... they don't like being watched alot, rt? cause whenever i go close, they go into hiding. will give them pellets soon now. some1 told me its better to offer fresh food.. so i was doing that. thanks a bunch.. :!: i really did need help

Turtle pellets are good. That will be the main part of your turtles' diet. Also good is a cuttlebone. Can you get cuttlebones where you are? Cuttlebones are usually given to pet birds, so they are found in the bird section of the pet store, but they are also great for turtles and turtles like them. Cuttlebones are mostly made of calcium which the turtles need a lot of for their shells and bones.
