my mom is taking me tomorow morning to pet supermarket to get some yummy fishe's for my turtles. is it ok for them to eat betta fishe's?

theyre 8 for 5 dollars, what other live food can i get them?

and im guessing that if i do buy any live food i have to of course feed it as well? do i just dump the fish flakes in the tank? im worried about the turtle's eating the flakes...is it safe?

I wouldnt worry about the turtle eating the flakes so much as the fish eating your turtle's food... The fish are much faster and more agressive when feeding. You may need to feed the two seperately.

i wouldnt recommend feeding bettas to your turtle.. plus why would you wanna get 8 for $5 when rosys are usually 10-12 cents each?

You can get rosies or feeder guppies 12/ $1 at some places and they're probably better for your turtle anyway. Usually the prettier bettas are old and die easily anyway, so they're not exactly healthy to begin with.
