Feeding and Nutrition :: mazuri pallets

how many mazuri pallets for 4,5 to 5 " turlte that is about 15 months old?
please help!

think of the turtles head being hollow ( not including the neck)
and estimate how many you could fit in there.
thats how much pellets.

i give her about 20 a day.keep in mind these are small round balls.

i feed my turts zoomed food so i wouldn't know how big(or small) the mazuri food is compared to the zoomed. but somewhere on www.austinsturtlepage.com it says how much to feed them and when.

mkeric1, you're giving your turtle 20 Mazuri pellets a day? I know they're balls, but compared to some other brands, the balls are not that small. I don't think 20 will fit into your turtle's head (be conservative in your judgement). My RES is a little over 6 inches (and he's almost 4 and a half years old) in length and he doesn't get 20 Mazuri pellets at a time...Perhaps the reason why your 15-month old turtle is 4.5 - 5 inches (this is shell length not including the curve?), is at least in part because of the amount of pellets he's getting...
