Feeding and Nutrition :: how much is too much?

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

I've cut down the number of pellets my turtles get each day to two each, and place a large piece of lettuce in there as well. They are demolishing the red leaf lettuce in such a short time! Can I add more lettuce or should I limit the amount? The piece of lettuce is about palm sized or a tad smaller.

Is that size for both of them? Keep an eye on the stool, if its very loose then I would cut back on that. Don't forget to try different types of veggies.

They ignore carrot and will reluctantly eat kale. Lol And yes, they share that piece of lettuce.

I'd try the carrots again and some cucumbers as well. Check out http://www.redearslider.com/plants.html for more ideas.
