I found this water lily bulb that you put in your tank and it grows, is this something that would be okay for my RES? It says they like water lily's to eat so I didn't know if this was acceptable.

Also, when giving my RES things like lettuce, how big of a piece do you give? He's just a baby, should I break of smaller pieces and just let them float along with his other food?

It should be OK, though not sure if it'll thrive if your turtle nips/disturbs it.

For the lettuce, I'd say it's roughly the size of the shell. If the stool becomes very messy, I'd cut back.
