Feeding and Nutrition :: Carrot tops/greens?

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

So, I pulled up a bunch of our carrots today to thin them out. So, my question is can I give my turtle some of the greens from the tops? Or not? I know I can give him carrots... Does that include the green? Leaves only like turnips or stem to? Anyone know or tried it? I think I will offer Skit some of the thin tails and see if he eats them. I've just started forcing him to eat veggies so we will see. :D
Don't you sit and judge me from some high and mighty seat. Don't you shrug it off until you've walked a mile in my bare feet. 'Cause there are people that you pass by every day with harder cards than yours in life to play.

If I recall, they are OK but may taste a bit bitter.

My RES tasted, spit it out she looked little bit puzzled and gave me a look "Hey what is this? Where is the carrot?"
