Hi! I have decided to start weaning my turtle off pellets and more on to vegetables. With dandelion plants being the most readily available food for me (or so I thought) I figured I'd go harvest some leaves.

Well, walking through my yard today, I found no dandelions... The only thing I could find are these strange flowers that looked similar to dandelions but not quite. So, I moved into the front yard. Finally, I saw some dandelion leaves. I walked up to them and went in to grab a leaf. But, just as I touched it, I realized that it was covered in fuzz! Looking around, I saw some similar leaves a few feet away. But, these leaves were connected to the weird yellow flowers I saw earlier! Finally, I gave in and looked closer at the flowers and those around them. They looked almost exactly like dandelions! The only difference in the plants was that the strange one that was all over my yard had thinner stems, were smaller, stood taller than normal dandelions, and the leaves were fuzzy.

Any one know what this plant is? Can I feed it to my turtle or is the fuzzies not good for him? Otherwise I'm going to have to try something else...
Don't you sit and judge me from some high and mighty seat. Don't you shrug it off until you've walked a mile in my bare feet. 'Cause there are people that you pass by every day with harder cards than yours in life to play.

Did you get a picture of it? There are a few places online that might be able to figure out what they are.

They are called Cats Ear... I guess they are very similar to dandelions.
