so im new and i will be getting a red eared slider soon hes a juvenile and around 2 years old. i plan on spoiling him so i was wondering besides the normal dry shrimp and guppies can i feed him stuff like tuna and clams? any help would be appreciated.

its confirmed by me :) a few years ago when my gf got the turtle as a gift i did the research on how to sex it and the main way is the claws so i had her send a picture of the claws and it proved to be a male and thank you

Ah, if you know it's a male then you can plan on getting a permanent tank for him (though bigger is better).

well for now until i save up enough for a new tank i already have a fifty five gallon tank
