Anybody know of good pellets with calcium in them? Seems every type I look at has a small amount of calcium in them.

Steve I will let you know how the Omega One pellets hold up, the reptomin pellets release a very small amount of debris when my turtle eats them but it is really unnoticable unless I pay really close attention. Frances sends her best wishes.

Thanks slider_keeper! Frances is awesome, I'm glad you can work with her.

Cutepanda86, I think calcium is one of the ingredients they always print on the label, which is usually around 2%. If want to, dust them with a phosphorous-free calcium supplement. You might have to let it soak on a moist pellet, then give it to Sheldon.

^^All right, that may be something I need to do. Thanks. It's taking him a long time to get acquainted with the cuttlebone. Just seems surprising that they want the turtle to have calcium and then the pellets give such a small amount.

My turtle eats the pellets in one bite...no mess (crumbs). He now leaves the flakes, the fish are glad!

Toku loves the tropical flakes.
