Hello!
I have a 3 inch, 9 month old Red Eared Slider named Bowser, presumably male and he is shedding at the moment! There is one scute that is being particularly stubborn. It looks ready to come off, is rough and apparently very itchy for him! The rest of his shedding is going great, it's just this one scute that's the problem. So I read that blueberries are a good way to help with shedding. I got some fresh blueberries since they are in season and gave him one already and he loved it! Actually, he'll eat anything :P He is not picky at all.
What I was wondering was how many blueberries should I give him in one day? Should I only give him some once a week or less then that?

I would give it him maybe once or twice a week. You might also want to try koi pellets (wheat germ based) as many think this helps with shedding too.

Thank you! How many blueberries should I feed him in a week, then?

There's no set amount but I wouldn't do more than 1 or 2.
