Feeding and Nutrition :: Guppies VS Rosey Reds

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

Does anyone prefer one over the other?

I've been getting guppies more often lately b/c I've noticed they last a lot longer and are more bite sized for my turtles. 20 guppies will last 2-3 weeks and on top of that they multiply almost as fast as the turts eat them. The other day I bought 8 rosey reds and they were all an inch or longer. I figured they would last a while since they were so big. But the very next morning they were ALL gone! I couldn't believe it.

Well, you get more value from rosies but my RES would make a mess with them. Like you said, guppies are bite sized.
