Today morning i found my "GREENY" not making any movements at all. i washed him, shaked him...alas...no response. We just lost him.... :( :( :( :( :(

Din know what happenned. He was not eating anything since 7-8 dyas. I tried giving him worms, pellets, some coriander leaves...none of that did he accepted..

Tried the vet twice. But he just gave him some protein injections & said he would be ok. Last 2 days the vets notavailble.

I am just feeling lot guilty for not knowing what to do.....

Guys..please help me out.. I am planning to get a new RES but not daring at all feeling lots & lots of guilt for not able to save "GREENY".

What shud i do...? Just feeling that i get a new one & again this happens it would be a disaste for me...

I'm very sorry to hear that. :/ Sad news

I don't think it's possible for a RES to starve in only a week... there must of been another problem. Did your vet mention any other issues?
3 RES- Sajko, Lajzi, and Nacho

Age approx 1.5 yrs (I had brought him 15 months back)
Shell Length 3'6"
Glass Tank 18"(W) X 18"(L) X 18"(H) (Approx 25 Gallons)

Always kept accessible Sunlight (Morning Time arnd 8 am to 12 pm)
I even use to take him out of water for roaming in the house....He liked it too....
Just missing him the whole time....

One thing..I did notice him number of times just trying to cut his front paw with the mouth & making some noise while doing it..it hink the paw must have been itchy & hence he's trying to get that itch out....wud that be a serious problem...
