i have a 4 month old res. i have given it only pellets from the pet store. do i have to feed it live fish or bugs? and if so, what kind? i have tried romaine, apple, carrot, celery, and some other things, but no live bait.

also i was thinking of buying him a friend, but am unsure what water species i want. are there turtles that i should not expose my turtle to?

I do not recommend another turtle. There is a chance they will fight. I don't know much about fish, you will have to look through the threads
