this site has been a very big help to me thanks for whoever runs this and for the people that reply to nme. Moulder and Sculy also say thanks they are more active and look happy. my qesution is i have hatchlings i have been from mainly sources that say it is better to feed them in a seperate tank to keep the water clean. i have been doing this for about 3days but as i move they wiggle and law at the air i have just read thats a stress indicator. i dont mind having to clean my tank i would prefere them to be healthy and happy rather then me have leess clean up to do. i would like to know how other people feed them in other tanks, in their tank, or whatever. i have decided to feed them in their tank and stop moving I think thats the right thing if not please let me know. also when i feed them i turn off my fliter cause the current makes the food go everywhere then i scoop out the food that hasnt been eaten then turn the fliter back on. any tips would be great.

What kind of food are you using? When I feed pellets there is really no mess, but the turtle shots are a different story! Turkey basters can be super helpful for spot-cleaning too :)

As long as your filter is good I don't think you need to feed outside. Except for the messier items. Lettuce does leave some crap behind but if I use my gravel vacuum once a week I'm okay. I did learn that egg whites will make a huge mess. We had a whole bunch of hard boiled eggs from Easter, so I figured what the hell it's listed as okay to feed once in a while. She only ate half of it and the rest broke up into a thousand little pieces and didn't break down in the tank. What a mess it made.
