I'm attempting to breed white clouds. From what I hear, it's extremely easy which is good, considering I have NO IDEA what I'm doing. I bought 25 (cost me 9 bucks) and stuck them in a 10 gallon tank (cost me 11.99), and threw in one of the fake plants from my turtle tank.
I don't know how big they need to be in order to breed, right now they're no bigger than 1/2 inch, and that's streaching it. Anyone know when they'll breed, and if the fake plant is sufficient for them to lay eggs in? I know the parents have a tendency of eating the eggs, but they shouldn't if they're well fed. I'm really flying blind here, so any suggestions, hints or tips would be great. thanks!
