Hey guys! wow it's been a while since I posted on this site. well anyways quick question:
i've got some smoked salmon ....can i feed that to my RES? :oops:

If seasonings were added to the smoked salmon, I wouldn't feed it to my turtle. :)

yeah actually i have 2 baked clams in the freezer i was going to make for dinner tomoro and i was wondering about whether or not my turtles would like a bite... salmon is a good idea tho i love salmon over fire mmmmmaybe next time ill give my turtles a bite before i add seasonings, wouldnt it just be like a better version of tuna?

nope ..no seasonings.. hmmm i'll give it a try and see for any adverse reactions..which i dont think should be an issue
im not sure about the clams maybe a tiny piece to see if they are okay with it? :?

An occasional bit of salmon (no seasoning and rinsed with water to get more of the oil off) is fine as a treat. I also give rinsed salmon bones for extra calcium.

oooh how do you do that ? with the salmon bones?do you mean that stringy white stuff in the salmon or actual bones?
