I'm so happy!
Bowser used to not like lettuce at all...in fact, she would take a nibble and spit it back out.
But now that she's in her new tank she's been eating so well so we decided to try our luck again.
My boyfriend brought some leafy lettuce home last night and I held a piece in front of Bowser just to see.
Lo and behold, she snatched it right out of my hand and ate the whole piece!
She has recently started begging for food even though she eats plenty.
I can walk into the room and she gets so excited...splashing, swimming left to right while staring at me, and opening her mouth.
She also looks for my hands and swims to where they are.
I went to grab something from a closet near her tank and she followed my hands as I reached! LOL

Dandelion leaves are really good.

Shredded carrots were just about the only veggie she would eat before this, probably because of the color...she's attracted to the color orange.
I can't seem to find any of the plants on the list of what to feed.
Petco and Petsmart has all kinds of live aquarium plants in the fish section, but none of them are on the list.
We did buy a veggie clip and she nibbled at lettuce during the day yesterday.
Of course, pellets are still the staple diet.
We rotate between Nutrafin Max, HBH, Reptomin Plus, Zoomed, Reptotreat Suprema (in small amounts because of the high protein, but this is definitely her favorite), and the occasional flakes of krill.

Thats good! I wish my RES would eat his vegetables. But he does like shredded carrots but not carrots that are in chunks haha he's really picky about his food.
