is there any reason to feed in the morning instead of at night? does it make sense to split up the food-give some in the morning and some at night-or should i give it all at once?

I feed mine twice a day, usually when i just wake up in the morning and then at night before I go to bed, sometimes i feed them a snack in the middle of the day.

You can split it up, though I would give more vitamin/calcium rich foods in the morning so they can process it while exposed to UVB.
