Feeding and Nutrition :: Baby RES wont eat

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

Post Posted: Tue Sep 22, 2009 6:28 pm   Baby RES wont eat

I just got a new RES a few days ago.I am new to owning one and cannot get him(or her) to eat. I have tried Tuna pellets and lettuce and as far as I can tell he has not eaten yet.He is fairly pale in colour which I'm not sure if that matters or if its just him.Any help is appreciated.

Give your turtle a few days to acclimate himself and get comfortable in his new home. Keep offering pellets and veggies until he gets hungry enough to take it.

Good luck.

once they start eating it rly is just when they r hungry, i feed mine every morning so everymornign he is hungry. it all depends on when ufeed them really, i know someone whofeeds thers at night. but most usually will beg for food all the time once they realize u r the food source
