Somewhat dumb question but why do hatchings shells seem to curve up some around the rim of their shell which if it were an adult one would suggest it's being fed to much.

I don't know but I feed my hatchling a decent diet and her shell curves too.

hey um bloodwine im not sure what you mean by that. but most likely their still developing so thats why it might look that way

That's just how they grow when they are young.

Hatchlings marginal scutes shouldn't really curve up. If they do, it's likely because they're having a growth spurt (which is not uncommon). If the upturn is really noticeable, adjusting the diet would alleviate the problem in time.
