well, the store didnt have any cuttle bone, even in the bird section. maybe they were out. i dont NEED cuttle bone right away right?

It's best to supplement calcium regularly. So just pick one up the next time you see it.

You could also periodically use a non-phosphorus powdered calcium supplement. Coat moistened pellets with it and let them dry before giving them to your turtle.

I feed my turtle the goldfish weekend feeders to give him calcium, he refuses the cuttlebone. So you could try those.
