I know at least some species of turtle eat this as a food. Can RES? If so, how often?

Thanks!

I would avoid aloe. There are conflicting opinions in desert tortises, and it would be a risk to feed it to them. I haven't found any info on Aloe for any reptiles but desert tortises, so I can't say for certain, but why risk it?

probably right - I am just looking for alternative foods for them to eat. Aloe would have been easy since it grows in the yard. But you are right - not worth the risk! It doesn't seem like it would grow in their natural habitat.
2 RES - greeny and Gwen/Ben (just depends on whether it is a he or a she)
3 goldfish that will probably become food
1 pleco that I hope they don't eat
an ever expanding group of guppies
