Mine are pretty picky.
Ralph likes his pellets, but he's got a sweet tooth, so he loves the fruit and sweet veggies like corn, carrots or sweet potato/yam.
Frankie (so far) goes nuts over pellets. I tricked her into snarfing some red lettuce, but I think she's on to me because she left alone the second piece. I've tried various other veggies, but so far she has decided she much prefers the stems of Romaine lettuce  I'm working to change that :P

all 5 love their pellets and the occasional shrimp treat but turn up their noses at anything else. Well...they will nibble on the water hyacinth & a couple munch anacharis, but that's it. They do eat cuttlebone though thankfully!

My turtle will pretty much eat anything, as long as it isn't bolted down. She even went after my toe one day when she was out of the tank. Yikes.

My hatch-lings (they r both about 5-6 months) will eat pellets - gammarus - fish flakes - spirulina waffers - live fish - dried fish - sometimes a few bites on my apple snails all r welcome. But they wont even try veggies... they totally ignore them. :(

I have three turtles:

Lucy, our big female, we have nicknamed Jaws because she will eat anything. She tries to eat the heater, ramp, and tubes from the filter, but luckily they are tougher than she is.

Presley, our mail, is very picky and will eat pellets and some water plants, but not vegetables and the only way he will eat fish is if one of the girls kills it and he doesn't have to go after it.

Maggie, our youngest, is similar to Lucy, but I think she tries to play with everything in her tank not necessarily trying to eat it. She loves all vegetables, pellets, and tries like crazy to get fish. She usually succeeds one in ten fish.
