I was wondering, what do you feed your minnows? do you just give them fish food like what you would do to feed other fishes? and do you take your turtle out of the tank while feeding the fishes in case he eats the fish food?

Thanksss!!

Yep, they eat fish food. No you don't have to, but you could if you wanted to,

I don't feed my minnows, they live on leftovers.

Yes, if you don't feed your feeder fish, they will keep the tank a lot cleaner!! :D

okay thanks and one more question, as for the normal incandescent bulb + that other one for basking..do you keep them both shining directly at the basking spot? Light is really needed to be shun into the water right right?

Yes, you point the incadescent bulb and UVB bulb at the basking spot. Light doesn't have to go into the tank, but it'll look nicer and your turtle will be able to see better

Back to the minnow subject, i upgraded to a 33 gallon tank (36x12x18) and i have 3 turtles, 2 around 4 inches and 1 around 3.5 inches. Lets say i throw around 10 minnows in there, how long do you think they will last seeing as I have 3 turtles in there? Should I not throw so many at once because they may eat too much and be bad for them? Or is it relatively hard for them to catch them and will last them for a month or so.

The 33-gallon holds all turtles? If so, you're tank is grossly undersized for the size turtles you say you have (at least a 100-gallon would be needed). I think you're going to have to experiment here. I'd feed fewer rather than a lot and see what your turtles do with them.

with 10 minnows it could varry depending on how your turtles feed. With my smaller tank that has my young softie, my painted an my hatchling miss map 10 would last maybe oh 2-3 days or so depending on weither or not they recived anything else. Now with my African sideneck in his 45gal tank 10 would only last maybe a day 2 at the most. same with the rest of my turtles.

It all depends on the turtles themselves.
