I picked up some Fluker's vitamin supplement and Rep-Cal Calcium w/ Vitamin D3. The plan was to dust my new RES's food with these twice a week. But now I'm reading that I shouldn't use supplements containg D3 if my RES gets enough UVB. I have the UVB lamp on a timer for 10 hours a day. Is it still OK to use these supplements? What adverse effects are there from a D3 overdose?

If your RES gets adequate UVB I don't see a need to use the powder at all. However, if you're still concerned about his vitD3 levels you can still use the powder sparingly, I'd say 2x/week is too much though.
Supplements are concentrated so there is a higher risk of overdosing, although I don't know what the effects would be.
