So summer is coming up and I figured that it would be nice to "throw my two females outside for the summer. It will be more interesting for them. Does anyone know a good site for RES outside environment building?

Or MAYBE someone has some pointers about that one. I've already learned that I have to put up some kind of fencing. What else?

Use a google search for websites about pond building.

You basically have two choices - preformed or flexible liner. Preformed is the easiest. Just dig a hole and set the liner in and backfill any gaps. Depending on how big and fancy you want to get, the options and cost go on from there. RES are good climbers so your water level must be low enough to keep them in the pond or you must contain them with some type of enclosure. Predators must also be considered if they are left outside for more than short period. Quite a lot to think about including water quality & filters
