Habitat - Outdoor :: Nesting area?

Ponds and other outdoor enclosures.

Post Posted: Wed Jul 19, 2006 8:02 pm   Nesting area?

How deep should a nesting area be, and what type of substrate should I use? Also how large of an area should it cover? Does the temp at the nesting site have to be around a certen degree? How many times a month should I put her in the nesting area and how long should I leave her there? Should it be inside the house or outside? What do you guys use/do?

Ps. If this has all been answerd before, sorry. :)

Since I haven't had to make one, all I can do is point you to this site that has some great info on making them.

Hopefully that helps some and I'm sure others will be along to help as well. :)
