150 is great for a single turtle, especially a male! Keep us updated on the tank's progress.

P.S.: Water hyacinth and water lettuce provide great shade, filtration, and turtle snacks.

What are the dimensions of the area? The beauty of the stock tank is that it can be over grass, dirt, pavers, etc all at the same time.

The area is approximately 30"x60" so I may have to go with a 100 gal now that Im looking at the space.
