Outside pond for RES. One of them is shy so must of the pics are of bubbles. Bindi spying from under ledge. Bottom pic is state one of them were in when we got her, her shell is coming right after plenty of sun and shedding.

my photography doesnt do the pond justice, its a very pretty tranquil setting.

What a beautiful pond! I love the picture with the kitty sitting by the turtles. My cat loves my RES :)

RES is illegal in Australia but not in new zealand right?

not sure about legal in Aussie or not. Ive met a lot of kiwis online with turtles didnt realise they were so popular. we seem to get Reeves, snakenecks and RES but i saw a big tortise for sale not long ago.

australia has wild turles so maybe its to do with interbreediing. we have not wild turtles.

Nz we are not allowed snakes but can have waterdragons from aussie, we have too many endangered birds some of which are flightless (kiwi for one).

I allways found outside setups so relaxing..
