Habitat - Outdoor :: 300g Stock Tank - Filter,Pump,etc.

Ponds and other outdoor enclosures.

Hi, I am moving my turtles from my mud room to my garage, which will give me more room for a stock tank. I know this will not be outdoors, but I will need some advice for filters, pumps, heater, etc. I will be using a 300g Rubbermaid stock tank. I am building a custom basking area around it, with the proper lighting,etc. I need advice for a filter (pond filters?) and a heater. I insulated the garage this past week, and have prepped the area for safe turtle keeping. I am familiar with Skippy filters because I just built one for a pond I am working on for a friend, but I don't think it will smell too good in the garage. If anyone has any advice on submersibles, or external filters for this type of setup, please help! Thanks.

Pond filters work great... What ever filter you decided on just make sure that it is rated for atleast twice the amount of water you have.... good luck Summer

I was thinking about getting a pond filter but found something else.
1.0.0 RES-Slash
1.2.0 Cat-Abby/Cali/Nemo
0.1.0 Yorkie-Lucie
1.0.0 Jack Russell Terrier-Cooper
I have lots of ideas! Trouble is, most of them suck!
