Ponds and other outdoor enclosures.

There is a very elusive turtle living in a pond outside where i work. here are the pond specs:
7' W, 13' L, about a 3' depth at its deepest. it is a very planted pond with all sorts of lily pads and other water plants. the substrate is barely any mud and large, large rocks. there are no fish and only a few frogs living with the one turtle.
i live in south carolina and of course our winters are not that harsh. it probably only gets down around 65 at the coldest.

i've been trying to catch this turtle with no luck so here is what i want to ask you:

can i just leave her there? will she survive over the winter? or is the pond not deep enough like i suspect?
