Don't give up on me. I go into photobucket to my account and my picture is there but when I right click/copy/paste in my post the link comes up but not the picture.

This is frustrating I know.

Oh---so very nice!:D

This is the one with the missing turtle? If so, some of those areas look like a large turtle with a little determination could eventually find a way out of it.

Straight ahead by the yellowish bush it looks like she could climb but there are two large rocks under the overhang of that plant. if you look closly you can see a piece of one. The picture is deseaving. The black liner showing to the right front is actually about 2 ft from the water. The area to the left is actually blocked by rocks knee high from the beach area.

Straight ahead curving slightly to the left if you follow to the end is about 1 foot deep and comes out to a other beach area. This is surrounded by a rod iron fence dug about 4-5 inches into a dirt/mulched area. The pond midway is 4 feet deep and the end closer to the picture is 5 feet. The rock directly in the middle for safe basking.

The Koi are in there and I decided against getting more turtles. Thank you guys for all your help and advice.

Turtle people rock.

That pond is stunning! I'm envious.

We put our turtle in a pond with completely verticle walls that extended about 6" above the water level all around. There were flagstones on the top of the wall that extended out over the edge MOST (but not ALL) of the way around. We were sure it was turtle-proof but it took Spot all of about 5 minutes to escape. He climbed straight up the verticle wall, which had a texture just rough enough for him to hook his little claws into, and found a little place where the flagstone didn't extend over the edge. RES are incredibly strong.

I sincerely hope your turtle comes back.
