Hello Everyone

I have been busy building and having computer issues, so I have not been able to update you guys until now.

Here are more pictures, I hope it will make more sense to some of you who are completely at a loss of what I am doing.

I ended up putting 40 pieces of sod down.

The turtles can not dig there way out because there is concert almost all the way around, except for where the a/c unit is. I am going to dig that area out and put in pavers so that if they do dig under the fence there they will still hit concert.

The fence is 4 foot high. This way no raccoons or possums can climb in.

Comments Welcome!!!

Looks good! I think it would be a good idea for it to be raised a few inches to prevent rain runoff and debris flowing into it.

The fence looks good too, but will it block out too much sunlight? It's great for privacy, though I think a shorter fence with a screen top will allow much more sun in there.

Thanks!!!

Sorry I have not replied sooner, I have been very busy!!!

Actually there is too much sun in there.... I had to put rubbermaid lids in the ponds (the lids float) to provide shade for them during the hottest parts of the day... I put them outside on Sunday and I don't think they have figured out how to get out of their ponds yet. But they will.

I will post more pictures early next week when I get my camera back from my mother....

Thanks again
Summer

Nice pond, I am in the planning stage of my pond, so no pics yet. Is that your son in the last picture with the bow? What make and model is it?

pond filters from Lowes... here is the link:

they work great... I have had one for about 4 years and it still works fine...

Would that filter work for an aquarium? Becasue that's a whole lot cheaper and we live about 20 miles from Lowes so......
