If you're at home depot, it's near the fluorescent lighting. If you ask, they might not know it as "egg crate" . Technically it's "1/2 inch light diffuser panels" . Anyone in the lighting / electrical section should be able to show you to the light diffuser if they have it in stock.

They are stock water tanks. You can find them at farm supply stores like Tractor Supply Company.
