Habitat - Outdoor :: Pond heater

Ponds and other outdoor enclosures.

so I have been looking for a heater for my pond so I can leave her outside for the winter. The pond is a 3.5 ft radius circle. The dept is about 2 feet at the deepest point. I was looking for a pond heater but all the ones out there are 300+. I looked into the deicers but they all only turn on when the water temps get below 35 degrees. Anyone else have any other suggestions? The turtle is about 9-10 inches from tip to tip.

I live in Las Vegas. Summers are hot hot hot and winters can get pretty cold. Last winter we even got 6 inches of snow one day

If your turtle is a Red Ear Slider, it should be fine in the pond.
