Gravel or Other Bottoms?
Posted: Thu Jul 14, 2005 9:30 pmIs it ok to put some type of gravel or another type of cover on the bottom of the tank so that you don't have to just look at a bare tank, or can things like that hurt the turt? Thanks

So you can go to Home Depot or Lowes and get a bag for cheap, you just need to wash them really well. Some people also bake and/or boil them to get rid of any germs that might be on them.

Posted: Fri Jul 15, 2005 9:26 amy'know how you see fish tanks in the stores that have that paper on the back that has plants/water and stuff on it? I can't describe it much better than that. It sticks on the outside of the tank and the picture shows on the inside. I guess it's supposed to give the fish something to look at.
