Habitat - Indoor :: Basking area rebuild

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

Since I recently resealed my tank, I've decided to rebuild the basking area.
Currently it's a frame of cpvc holding a wood platform and ramp that hangs from the sides of the tank. The wood just isn't it great shape and Morla has a tendency to catch one of her rear claws on the ramp edge.

I wanted to use a thin ceramic tile, but can't seem to find any that have a decent texture that she would be able to get a good footing to climb. I'd be fine with smooth tile for the basking area, but would like something durable and texture for the ramp.
Any suggestions?

If that's the design you want, maybe some non-slip tape (the kind used for bathtubs)? Some have also used reptile carpet over plexiglas, though if you can drill a few holes into the tile, you can tie it down.
