Hi everyone!
I'm very new to res and i've just gotten 2 hatchlings which are around 1 inch in size. Gotten them on 4th of march this year. Only a few days ago. So at first both of my res were very active but at that night i found out that 1 of them got skin peelings near the eyes and feet areas, just like how humans get after putting their hands in water for too long. No swelling whatsoever. Just peeling of skin. I've read online and from what i understand it stated that it may be a fungal infection. So i bought anti bacterial wash(blue blackish colour ink like) and drop a few drops on the res and also during feeding. It's been 2 days now that i am putting the wash. Is what i am doing right?
Also, recently like yesterday and today, it did not want to eat anything. I've tried pellets, freeze dried shrimps but it won't eat anything. (I separate them during meals from their main tank) It likes to sleep in it's main tank basking area almost all the time, swims for a bit and then went back to the basking area to chill for a long time.
Should i get a different food for them or just stick with the ones i already have?
I hope someone could advice me as i am very serious taking res as a pet and would do anything for them to get healthy
I'm residing in Singapore so the weather conditions might vary. Most of the time like 90% of the time it's sunny and warm here.
Thank you
