Cool table! It's hard to find aesthetically pleasing ones.

I've finished the framework for the tiki hut ATBA. Next I'll make Delrin floor panels on my laser. Then the hut siding and roof will be completed.

Very Interesting overall, kinda concern on the shells and things but interesting all the way around though.

It is looking great Steve, I wish Kevin G and his girlfriend Allison lived locally to me with their outstanding ideas. I would pay both of them to come design mine and put it all together as I do not have the time to do such with a outstanding display that I would like to see in my home. Hmmm what enticing bribe should I offer lolol. Just joking of course :D

Getting there. Tiki thatch is needs to be added to the roof. Walls painted white. Floor panels added inside. Doors on base replaced with different material to match. Then the whole tank will be moved, base will get painted when moved.

Cool! I'm planning a new tank now and the 'theme' changes daily

I keep going back to natural, because I'm worried if I put too much effort into a theme it will look stupid in a year and I'll wish I hadn't done it. So, kudos for going all in!

Kevin , It is coming along outstanding, great job and by the way, I adore your dog too lol. Otis, though over a year, I can see where a person would get bored of a theme but a theme once the initial set up is done, the theme itself can be changed with more creativity to fit the owners. It is nice overall and I understand wanting a attractive display not only for kevin and his girlfriend to love and cherish but for friends and family invited to their home to enjoy as well. I agree on the kudos for going all in as well, they worked. If I could bribe kevin on a free weekend on my boat and all meals paid with cash if he lived closer, I would. I myself do not have they time I feel to get such a attractive set up though I wish I did.

Good luck with your set up Otis, please post photos as well. :D

Painted the sides and added the thatch today. Thinking of ways to make the bottom look more the theme. Tan paint with sand in it? Spray painted texter? Any ideas are welcome. :-)
