I'm just kinda proud of myself, and wanted to show off.

I had a bunch of concrete forming lumber left over from a job that was getting tossed, so I rummaged through it to find some good straight pieces and built the frame for this stand. It took a good bit of scraping, sanding and cleaning to use, but free is always worth a little work. I bought about $30 worth of additional plywood etc. to finish it off, still need to level off the top frame, attach the top and make a cabinet door. It's open in the back so that I can fish wires/tubes through and have everything hidden below on a little shelf. The bottom frame is constructed the same way as the top, with 9 "legs" all glued and screwed- should be more than adequate for supporting the weight.

...now I just gotta find a place for that painting...

Heck yea! I'm all about job site recycling. I used some old wood fence to surround my stock tank. And a big piece of limestone from a lake for the basking rock.. Looks great!! And that stand looks great also.
