I need some ideas for setting up a tank for my hatchling A type of setup to where he could swim and bask.Kind of like a lake with a bank so he doesn't have to struggle to get up into the basking area.

Do you have a regular aquarium or a "turtle tank"? If you're looking for a simple and easy basking platform, check out something like this:

For a hatchling Zoo med turtle docks are great!
