If it's a male, then look for 55-75 gallons. A female should get between 90-120 gallons. There's no such thing as a tank that is too big, so if you have the room and funds, a larger tank will be better.

If you can afford to buy big (remembering filtration is a part).. it's cheaper in the long run to buy big once than to upgrade multiple times.
