Look's like several other websites are changing rules on third party hosting also . You as I do can use your own own computer just resize the picture to the forum as one would do for an email.

I first get the pictures ready , in your photos go to the one ('s) you want to use

1) right click on picture
2) box opens and click on "edit"
3) new window open and you will see that picture. Click on resize ! On top you will see two ways to do it either by percentage or pixels. I find 816x612 works for the several email accounts I use and also works well for this forum.
4) you can then replace original and or save both or just save the new size. Make sure you save it.
5) check your work , in your picture's now you will see saved edit will have a (2) next to it , to check right click on that photo . click properties then details , look at dimensions and you will see the 816x612 size instead of the full 3264x2448 original size.

Practice a little and you can get it down to four clicks and using your computer no other third party site ! Then follow the clicks on the forum to summit. Don't worry about mistakes you can always open a box and recover previous versions if needed. Just me I usually save both versions (sizes). Remember for the forum or emails use the one marked (2) will then accept.

Example of 816x612 below :

I have three lamps, heater for daytime, uvb 5.0 and a heater for night. Daytime heater and UVB 5.0 are open for 12 hours, then night heaters turns on. I could not handle the filter related things yet, will sort it out during weekend.

Looking even better. The night heat lamp is it a ceramic type so it's dark at night for a good sleep ? Save money truly don't need it (night heat lamp) if basking dock gets to cool at night turtles love to sleep in the warm water , one of the purpose's for a water heater. Since still small offer some real or plastic floating plants to sleep on . Turtles love sleeping that way.

That looks great mspringe99! When I mention to people to make an acrylic/plexi barrier, this is exactly what I want them to see.

Literally went through every post on this forum. Love everyones ideas for a basking spot! I wonder if anyone will read this looks like this forum was started 18yrs ago!?
Anyway I’m a first time turtle owner and I’ve gone above and beyond on research to make sure my RES is as happy as can be. I’ve had him as a hatchling 1-2 inches and 9 months later he’s at 5 inches! Named him Donatello but I actually don’t know if he’s a male I’m starting to think it’s a female if thats the case I’ll just change the name to Donatella lol.

Will post pictures of his growth and the tank i’m currently working on once I figure out how to resize. Started with a 40gal which he has quicly outgrown due to the water level not being as high due to the basking platform I had. Just got a 75 gal and and he is loving it! But currently working on a project for above tank basking spot!
