Habitat - Indoor :: Should I use a UVB light to light my tank?

After it was discovered that some UVBs (the ones that we had the most problems with were Zoo Med Reptisun compacts) were causing irritated eyes, Frances Baines from the UVGuide site presented her research to the various manufacturers. As far as I know, Zoo Med did not change anything but recommended a burn-in period in the instructions. Just as a word of caution, some bulbs caused problems long after the burn-in and of course I would end up with one of those.

I knew i wasn't crazy, lol. Any knows issues with Exo tera Repti glo?

Not that I recall, though Repti Glo never seems to have a strong of an output as the Reptisuns.

I use repi glow no problems ! And you might still be crazy:-)
