That looks pretty good to me. I would run the shelf liner all the way down the ramp though. That way you don't have to risk toe nails or scratching of the shell.

actorial - are those real plants that you have in your tank, or fake? if they're fake, what kind are they? i want to decorate my tank with some fake plants, but i'm afraid of Crush nibbling & biting them

francinemarie - they are all fake plants in the tank. they do bite it abit at first but eventually they will know that they are fake and only swim around them :) they wont be able to tear it anyway (provided your RES is like mine in size). should not be a problem setting them in :) cheers!

Here's Sassmo's private beach, she isn't quite use too it yet, I think I'll open the entrance a bit more too entice her too bask. I added the plants today she sure was intrested when I put them in, so hopefully she goes up there.

I accually saw her climb it a couple times, I did just change it a bit after posting pics, it's not as steep now and I put a piece off plastic canvas on top to make the surface softer.

I finally managed too change it enought so Sassamo will accually use it. The basking area was too big, the ramp too steep and she's too big too get in between. So I cut about 6inches off the beach, made a sand stopper out of chloroplast and a piece off egg crate, added a ramp that is not steep at all, added an under water resting area. The best part is not even 30 mins after setting the new one up Sassamo went in and basked for 2 hours until I startled her by taking a picture (bad bad me :( ) She also relocated the plants too the bottom off the tank... lol
So here is the sandy beach basking area that Sassamo can accually get up and use :)

My pics always look so dark, bad camra and bad house lighting I suppose lol.
